PROJECT UPDATES

Updated: Mar 23, 2021

GiveBIG, Seattle’s online giving event, begins this week. (Well, actually last week, but honestly...who’s keeping track?)

For many us, the importance of nature has been highlighted along with the inequity of access that currently exists. A gift to The Eli’s Park Project supports community-led planning, an inclusive design process and the creation of an accessible, nature-based park for all.

Your gift goes further during GiveBIG. Our fiscal sponsor, Seattle Parks Foundation, recognizes the important work we’re doing to improve our community and will contribute $100 for each unique donation up to $1,000!

Donate through our GiveBIG donation page now through May 6 to support The Eli’s Park Project and please share with your networks to help us reach our GiveBIG goal of ten donors.

With gratitude,

The Eli’s Park Project Team

Our project wouldn’t be possible without all of you, our dedicated team and our partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation. We’re fortunate to have a parks department, and leader, who truly believe in inclusion. Hear what Superintendent, Jesús Aguirre, had to say (in a pre- pandemic interview) about The Eli’s Park Project!

Many of you have commented and asked about our videos. They were all recorded and put together by our talented friends at Purple Glass Productions who collaborate with organizations, community groups, and individuals to tell compelling stories through video. We are so grateful for their generosity of time, compassionate interviewing of our team members and genuine care for making the world more inclusive.

Visit https://vimeo.com/purpleglass to check out their other videos, including a recent piece for the NH Coalition Against Domestic Violence as they call for support in order to serve survivors in these difficult times.

Thank you Gina, Ericka and Purple Glass Productions for telling the stories that matter so beautifully.

Thanks to NE Seattle Living for helping us celebrate some of the people who are contributing so much, in so many ways! If you think of community partners we should hear from, please let us know.

*All event dates have been postponed. Looking forward to connecting with you in person when it's safe and responsible. Feel free to send along any thoughts, ideas or good vibes in the meantime! Be well.
