The Eli's Park Project
Updated: Apr 23, 2021
We are thrilled to welcome Devon Midori Hale and Carol Rashawna Williams to the Eli’s Park Project community! These talented, creative artists are coming together to lead a series of community engagement workshops. We will collectively share stories of welcoming, goodbyes, themes of home and ways of resting as points of intersections to accessibility. Your input and feedback will be gathered together with other community stories to culminate into a huge public art installation that will temporarily transform Eli's park into an inclusive, accessible game board. This installation will be up for a year and emerging themes and artwork may find a forever home in the park.
All are welcome to attend one, two or all three workshops. Register here.
Workshop 1 – Virtual Session: Saturday, April 24, noon-2
Workshop 2 – Virtual Session: Saturday, May 8, noon-2
Workshop 3 – Drop in at the Burke Gilman Playground Park: Saturday, May 15, noon-4
Can’t make any of these dates, but want to share your ideas? No worries, take this short survey and your feedback will be included.
